Update 30th May We discovered additional issues with the Samsung email client and have released another version – SwiftKey 4.1.2 – to fix them. Many thanks to the users who reported these issues and helped us to track them down.
Here at SwiftKey we’re constantly working to make typing faster, easier and more fun for our users. That’s why, just two weeks after the release of SwiftKey 4.1, we have another new version for you. This update fixes a number of issues that you have told us were bugging you – if you’ll excuse the pun.
The latest version is available as a free update for existing users – just go to the app store where you bought SwiftKey, log in and go to “My Apps” to find it.
The issues we have fixed in this release are:
- Cursor jumping around in the native Samsung email application, causing words to be inserted in odd places
- Google Hangouts showing a non-functional “execute” button in landscape mode
- Crashing when Personalization fails
- Crashing when using the Pitch theme on devices running Android 2.1
As always, we want to thank our users for reporting bugs on our bugs forum to help us to identify the issues that are affecting the most people, and to track them down quickly and efficiently. With your help we can continue to make SwiftKey better and better. If you have ideas on what new features you’d like to see you can post them (or add your comments and votes if they’ve already been posted) on our feedback forums.
