The benefits of SwiftKey

Personalized typing that adapts to you
SwiftKey X learns from your SMS, Facebook, Twitter and Gmail to model the way you write from the get go. It then adapts as you use it, constantly learning how you use language to offer an unrivalled prediction experience. Kiss that autocorrect fail goodbye!

Blazing-fast next word predictions
SwiftKey X gives super-accurate predictions before you even press a key. This is thanks to its ground-breaking artificial intelligence engine that uses word context and personalized language models to think about words like you do, taking the strain out of typing on smartphones and tablets.

So smart it’s always learning
The language engine that runs under SwiftKey X is smart, but it’s not complacent. It is continually learning from the way you write to give more accurate predictions. This means a typing experience that just keeps getting better.
The next-generation artificial intelligence keyboard for Android smartphones

What’s new?
SwiftKey X introduces unrivalled prediction and personalization features:
Cloud-based personalization
Personalize your SwiftKey typing experience with data from your Facebook, Twitter and Gmail, as well as your sent SMS messages. Our new cloud personalization brings the typing experience to the next level.
Typing styles to suit you
Are you a precise and careful typist, or a rapid and less accurate one? With SwiftKey X, we’ve fine-tuned typing styles to match the way you use your phone, in order to maximize efficiency and make typing messages a breeze.

Personal input modeling
SwiftKey X dynamically adapts the touch-sensitive area of its keys, based on your actual touchscreen input actions, resulting in predictions that are based not just on the words you tend to use, but also the way you type.
Keyboard customization
With SwiftKey X we’ve introduced themes for your keyboard, allowing you to customize its look with themes. To kick it off, we’ve rolled out a new dark theme for the keyboard in addition to our original light theme – and more are coming soon.
Next-word prediction
SwiftKey X offers smart next-word prediction by looking at the context of your sentence. Using TouchType’s Fluency™ prediction engine, the app applies natural language processing technology and machine learning to offer unrivalled word prediction and correction.
Our tests show that before personalization, roughly one third of next words are correctly predicted without any characters being entered and around 80% are predicted within two or fewer letters entered. This accuracy is then boosted further due to SwiftKey X’s individual user personalization features.
